LAKE WORTH BEACH CRA LAUNCHES EMERGENCY GRANT PROGRAM TO SUPPORT HOSPITALITY BUSINESSES
GRANT
In an effort to help stabilize local hospitality businesses within the CRA District due to effects from COVID-19, the CRA is implementing a Quick Action Emergency grant program. We
recognize that our small, local businesses are struggling to keep employees and must work around increasingly restrictive requirements. This limited program will assist for-profit restaurants and bars with 3-20 full-time employees. Businesses can apply online for up to $2,500 (in $500 increments) in working capital grants. The goal is to fund businesses that usually have face-to-face interaction with customers such as bars and restaurants, which are severely impacted by the virus.

FREE FOOD DISTRIBUTION
PROGRAM EXTENDED
Lake Worth Beach is teaming up with Feeding South Florida for the fifth straight week to
provide free fresh produce and groceries for families impacted by Coronavirus. The next distribution will be Tuesday, April 28 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., or while supplies last, at the HATCH 1121 building, 1121 Lucerne Ave. The entrance to the pick-up service will only be accessible on Lake Avenue. Anyone who needs help putting food on the table during this time is welcome to come by for supplies. Items are limited, and anyone coming for pick-up must be in an automobile. Volunteers are asked to register with the CRA before the event due to Coronavirus requirements.

Email etheodossakos@lakeworthbeachfl.gov if you are able to help.
