Important VOTING Updates from DRRI
Make Sure Your Vote is Counted!
RI’s Presidential Preference Primary ends at
8 pm on Tuesday June 2.

If you requested and received a ballot through the mail,
today is too late to return your ballot by mail, but not too late to make your vote count!

You still have 3 options to return your sealed Presidential Preference Primary mail ballot:

  • Drop it in the Board of Elections drop box at the entrance to the Board of Elections parking lot at 2000 Plainfield Pike in Cranston.

All ballots must be received at these locations by 8pm on June 2 to be eligible to be counted.
If you requested a ballot through the mail but did yet not received one, contact your local Board of Canvassers to learn of your options for voting in the June 2 Presidential Preference Primary: https://elections.ri.gov/canvassers/

Disability Rights Rhode Island joined Common Cause RI , the ACLU of RI and the League of Women Voters of RI to successfully advocate that State Elections officials install drop boxes at all polling places for the June 2 Election in order to make delivering mail ballots easier for voters.
