Dear Parents and guardians,
Due to the pending snowstorm, St. Ann's School has decided to move to a remote synchronous learning day on Tuesday 2-2-21.
The schedule will be remote synchronous learning instruction 8:30am-12:30pm and asynchronous learning 1:30pm-2:30pm. Please see the memorandum below regarding St. Ann's future
plans for weather related emergencies.
We hope that you stay safe during this time.

Memorandum Regarding School Closure
Due to Weather Related Emergencies
Academic Year 2020-2021
February 1, 2021
Dear parents, guardians, collaterals, and staff,
I hope this note finds you all well and continuing to manage these challenging times successfully.
This is an update to the earlier communication that was sent back in December about what St. Ann’s plan was going to be regarding weather-related emergencies, specifically snowstorms.
St. Ann’s previously shared that our plan was to apply an emergency day off instead of providing remote synchronous learning during weather related events. However, since our initial notification, we have needed to take an additional emergency day off and completed a full week of remote instruction the week following the holiday school break. Taking those circumstances into consideration and looking at when our current school year is scheduled to end (6/22), we have decided to consider remote instruction during individual weather-related emergencies, as to not further extend the current school year. As of now, prior to each forecasted weather event you will receive notification from St. Ann’s in a timely manner as to what our plan will be regarding remote learning or taking a day off from learning.
We wanted to let you know that we will continue to update and notify you around our plans and thank you for your understanding and patience during these unique times, as we continue to meet the needs of our students and staff.
