Horseshoe Bar Grill Inc. DBA Alexander's Horseshoe Bar Grill has been in operation for the last two years during that time we have reacquainted ourselves with our loyal clientele that have been following us for years and introduced ourselves to many new customers. We feel very fortunate to have built the business up each year in such a challenging economy. We have only our staff and loyal customers to thank for that. Thank you!! As of January 1st Alexander's Horseshoe Bar Grill will no longer be in business. We are very sorry for any inconvenience and my heartfelt thanks goes out to all of our staff that have made our restaurant like a family. What Happened? As many of you know Horseshoe Bar Grill was reopened after many years being closed. The new tenant,
DBA New Horseshoe bar Grill operated for one year. The operation was losing a significant amount of money and was in danger of closing. I sub let the restaurant for one year and finished the tenant's lease. I negotiated with the land lord to continue operating. I did not have the capital needed for a liquor license so I entered into a business structure that would allow us to continue operating but did not give me many tenant rights. At the end of our agreement I was to own the corporation and the liquor license. Alexander's Horseshoe Bar Grill was owned by Horseshoe Bar Grill Inc. and operated by Alexander's Culinary Solutions LLC under a management agreement. This December the owner of the corporation decided to shut down the restaurant effective January 1 2012. We continued to negotiate until the final word was given on December 31st What now? After taking a few weeks to recover from the closing I have been in early negotiations with the property owners of Slocum House in Fair Oaks. As many of you know I was the chef at Slocum House for 7 years. It is a jewel of a location and I am going to pursue a deal vigorously. Gift Card Holders While we have no financial responsibility for the operations of Horseshoe Bar Grill Inc. I feel a moral responsibility to my guests that may have gift cards to redeem. We will be hosting a series of events at local restaurants for gift card holders. The first will be at Caf� Zorro on February 12th just in time for Valentines Day!! We are also planning demonstration dinners at Chef Table in Rocklin date to be announced. We will send out an email to announce the menu and times. If you have or know someone who has a gift card please have them email me at vince1232@hotmail.com I want to do my best to reach everyone and give them a chance to redeem their card. we will have information on our new web site as it becomes available. I cannot say thank you enough it was a real humbling experience opening up at Horseshoe I didn't realize how many customers had been following our restaurants.
