Dear Parents and Staff:
An individual associated with the Glendale High School football program has tested positive for COVID-19. SPS is working in collaboration with the Health Department, the lead agency in responding to reported cases of COVID-19, and is following its guidance. Over the next three days, the Health Department will communicate directly with any person who had close contact with the individual.

In the meantime, football conditioning at Glendale will be suspended for 14 days. In addition, the Health Department is advising all students and staff who have participated in football conditioning to quarantine at home through July 27.

Once again, if you have been in close contact with the individual who tested positive, the Health Department will contact you directly within three days. Please monitor yourself for symptoms of COVID-19 for the next 14 days in isolation.

Please be assured that the well being of our students and staff remains our top priority. It is our goal to provide you as much information as we can, while also adhering to privacy laws that limit the details we are able to share.

If you need to reach us with your questions or concerns, please call the district’s athletics office at 417-523-0084.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Sincerely,
