Greetings!
I am pleased that Salon 1580 has reopened to serve you, my loyal and valued clients! I understand that some of you are still hesitant to re-acclimate to today's ever-evolving "new norm." I respect that.
That's why I think it's important to remind you of the strict protocols I have in place for our health and safety purposes. Please take a moment to video the short videos above. I will be happy to review our health and safety practices with you again, as detailed below, when you schedule or arrive for your appointment.
In compliance with the
Georgia State Board of Cosmetologists and Barbers Safety Guidelines for Reopening
here are the measures we are taking, and what we ask of you during this time to keep all of us safe and healthy:
- We are seeing clients by appointment only. Only one client at a time, per loft, will be allowed in the salon. Please come alone with no guests inside the Salon Lofts building. Spacing between persons in the salon will be at least six feet, except when stylists are servicing clients.
- I am allotting time between client appointments to disinfect my salon.
- Please text me upon your arrival and wait in your car until I text you back telling you we have completed the sanitation protocol and that it’s fine for you to come on into the salon.
- Please plan to wear a protective mask … and gloves if you would like.
- While providing service, your stylists will be wearing masks at all times, as well as gloves (changed between clients) whenever possible.
- We will be providing hand sanitizer and ask that you use it upon entering the salon.
- We purchased a touchless infrared thermometer and administer temperature checks on ourselves and on incoming clients. It rests briefly against your temple. If you register a temperature of 99 degrees or higher, you will need to return home and will not be allowed to have salon services until your temperature is normal and you have no evidence of COVID-19 symptoms.
- If you are under the weather in any way, such as having a common cold, etc., please reschedule. If you arrive for your appointment with noticeable symptoms, you will be asked to reschedule.
- We are required to ask each client upon entering the salon the following questions: Have you had a cough? Have you had a fever? Have you been around anyone exhibiting these symptoms within the past 14 days? Are you living with anyone who is sick or quarantined?
- As per our usual protocol, smocks, capes, towels, etc. are single-use only, never shared, and are laundered daily.
- We thoroughly clean and disinfect the salon continuously, including surfaces, tools, etc. It has always been our practice to sanitize the station chairs and sink bowls after each client.
- Salon Lofts will be frequently cleaning and disinfecting the restrooms.
- I have missed you! However, as much as I would like to, I am unable to give you a hug or even shake your hand.
- For your convenience, I have purchased a UV light cell phone sanitizer that you are welcome to use while you're at the salon!
