Carothers Insurance Agency was founded in 1969 by my father, Michael D. Carothers. From a tiny office in a rapidly growing Las Vegas, he set out with a simple mission: to serve his community with integrity, dedication, and heart. Many of you know the story — my father, his young son by his side, building relationships with airline pilots and earning their trust, a legacy still reflected today in our iconic pilot‑wings branding.

For more than five decades, I’ve worked to honor that legacy. Serving Nevada residents, supporting our agent community, and advocating for consumer access and affordability have been among the greatest privileges of my life. Together, we’ve built something truly special.

As our industry continues to evolve, so do the needs of the agents we serve. In recent years, I’ve focused on equipping the next generation of insurance professionals with the education, technology, and tools they need to thrive. That commitment has guided every major decision I’ve made — including the one I’m sharing today.
