Students must have a disability verified by a physician, psychiatrist, or other professional qualified to make such a diagnosis. Students may also submit an IEP or 504 plan from a K-12 school, or documentation from other agencies working with people who have disabilities, such as the state Department of Rehabilitation and the social security office. Please contact Rachel at rdechristofaro@dvc.edu for more information.
Financial aid announcements
In our continued efforts to improve our service and your student experience, we are making significant changes to the financial aid process in Financial Aid Self-Service.

Beginning March 15, 2021, if you are selected for verification or are required to resolve additional requirements by the U.S. Department of Education, you will be able to verify your financial aid data and submit documents online. If you are able to use this new process, you will receive an email to register for this new system at your InSite email address. Note that only students that have not yet submitted verification documents for the current academic year will be invited initially and an email with more information will be sent out.

Lastly, there is still time to submit your 2020-2021 financial aid application! You will need 2018 tax/income information on hand when completing your financial aid application. Learn more at DVC Financial Aid.
