February 13, 2021
A reminder to please plan on joining us for worship at 9 AM tomorrow, find the link below, and then join us for our Sunday Forum from 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM which will be facilitated by Allan Dorsey and Rev Richard. Our Forum will focus on the values of Holy Cross. We will ask you what they have meant to you, and how you might imagine them being lived and engaged outside of Bressi Ranch. We are doing this for two reasons. The first is so we can recall those values, and the second is so we can maintain those values wherever we land as a “camp site,” and then wherever as a more permanent solution. It will inform us in our revisioning and relocating process. Our website states: “Our values are grounded in our love of Jesus Christ as expressed in servanthood, stewardship, diversity, community, and courageous compassion.” Your voice is important in this process!
For those who would like to call into the Forum without joining Zoom via the internet. You may use one of the following numbers below, enter the meeting ID when prompted. Please know these phone numbers are provided by Zoom and are not toll-free.

How will we impose ashes this year when we will attend the service via Zoom?
Sometime before Wednesday a member of Holy Cross will deliver a small bag (pictured right) that has a container with ashes to your home so that you may self impose and/or family members may impose each other during the services. Thank you to Grant, Lupe, Karen, Ron, Sue B, and the Zolner's for helping to deliver the ashes! For our regular attenders who live out-of-town, we have mailed your ashes for the service via a USPS flat-rate box.

We hope you will join us at 6 pm on February 17th, as we begin our Lenten journey. Watch for the Zoom link in your email on Tuesday.

Drive-In and Livestreamed

Bishop Susan will be with us to hold a deconsecration service. This will be a drive-in service, as well as livestreamed, and our final service in the building. We have 22 car spaces available for those not taking a roll during the service. It is our hope that this may be a Eucharistic service. The Annual Meeting Report is available here. We encourage you to read the report ahead of the meeting so that you may be prepared to ask questions on the financial reports or other material. The bylaws we will vote on are here.

The Zoom link and phone number for those who wish to call into the meeting will be provided in next week's newsletter.
