Bishop Hughes was admitted to the hospital last night due to an infection that requires inpatient treatment through Saturday. As a result, she will not be able to attend our 150th anniversary events this evening and tomorrow. She sends this message to the diocese:
I am very disappointed to miss joining you onsite but will share the joy in spirit. I know you will give a robust welcome to Bishop Rowe and Bishop Curry. I am grateful for the many people all over our diocese who offered their time and talent across this year of celebration. Happy 150th anniversary, y’all!
