We Miss You! A Video Greeting from Staff
We are following our school calendar and there will be no school for students on Friday, April 10 . We will see them back virtually on Monday, April 13.

We are missing our students and want our families to enjoy these three videos that our staff made for students with Mr. Nikson's help using WeVideo.
An Update on Virtual Learning
The District would like to thank families for supporting students and teachers in their virtual learning efforts.

Changes to Daily Schedules for Virtual Learning

With feedback received during our first three weeks of virtual learning, our District will be altering our schedules in how we deliver virtual instruction and hopefully better meet the needs of our students and family members who are home assisting.

SFHS - Click on the new schedule image below to read a letter from Mr. Krutzik about a new block schedule.
SFMS - Click on the new schedule image below to read a letter from Mrs. Pound about a new block schedule.
SFES - Schedules have been established by each grade and sent home previously.

Virtual Learning Attendance

We continue to encourage students to take part in online learning. We are currently tracking daily attendance with the number of logins in through Classlink. It would be most helpful if students log out of Classlink at the end of each day and then log back in each morning to help us track their daily attendance. Classlink is a helpful launching platform that contains the apps that students need to complete their work. With your help we can exceed an 80% attendance rate each day.

Acceptable Use Policy
Remember that Chromebook use is being monitored by the Tech Team. We have had a few incidents at each building for our principals to deal with where students were not being appropriate with their Chromebooks and families were contacted. All keystrokes and websites are monitored while students are logged onto their district issued devices.   The District's Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) still applies and we ask that you please remind your child(ren) of this.

Free WiFi Locations
If students are unable to connect at home, please contact the principal at your school for help troubleshooting. We have also made a list of locations that have been reported with free WiFi if you park your car near the building. Students can use the WiFi to sync their Google accounts and then return home to complete assignments. Please remember to follow social distancing and stay in the car for safety.

Free Meals for ALL Children Under 18
To help families in our community who may be struggling financially, the School District of Sheboygan Falls is operating under a special National School Lunch Program contract to serve food to children 18 and younger. The District must operate within the confines of the contract which includes the types of foods provided, the hours that the food is served, documentation and record keeping. This guidance does change from time to time as the government refines program details, our district is required to respond to those changes.
Your child's food service account is not being charged for meals at this time. A claim for the breakfasts and lunches served to children 18 and younger will be submitted for reimbursement from the federal government.
In an effort to keep our staff members safe, we try to limit the amount of time they are together in the kitchens preparing meals. You can help the Food Service with planning and ordering food by consistently completing the survey in Infinite Campus. If you did not complete the survey and your child needs a meal, you are still welcome to participate, but please realize this may cause shortages and delays.
In an effort to keep you and your family safe, please go to the nearest school food distribution site so that you can stay as close to home as possible.

Learn more by watching our video and reading the Department of Public Instruction information. Note: Pickup time has been updated from 10 until noon on Monday-Wednesday-Friday.
