NP Volunteer News
VCNP Lynchburg Region regularly volunteers in the community.
Here are a few members at Lynchburg Our Daily Bread, which has provided free, hot meals every day for 39 years from their commercial kitchen in downtown Lynchburg.
Did you know April is National Volunteer month? We want to celebrate our incredible NP volunteers, whether you volunteer in a free clinic, as a VCNP state or regional leader or in a non-healthcare capacity. Please send 1-2 sentences about why you volunteer – and a photo (does not have to be in volunteer capacity) – to staff for use in upcoming VCNP social media posts and newsletters.
Beginning July 1, NPs will return to the 5-year experience requirement to apply for autonomous practice licensure. NPs who have their licenses before that date will be able to retain them. If you have 2 years of experience, apply now!
