Improve your Intake during National Nutrition Month

March is a great time to upgrade your diet.

Food as Medicine Theme for Functional Nutrition Series

Better focus your diet to use the natural nutrients found in food to promote better health. In this popular 8-week series, CWRU's own Lindsay Malone will introduce participants to Functional Nutrition and offer guidance and recipes for lifelong healthy eating. NEW! Two-part Gardening and Nutrition Program
Faculty, staff and students are welcome to attend this collaborative Wellness two-part event, From Your Garden to Your Table.

The series kicks off with Ryan Bennett from the University Farm who offers, "Get Your Garden Going." Learn tips for gardening a small plot in the Cleveland climate. Then Brenda Walsh from University Health Services will deliver "Navigating Nutrition During the Pandemic".

Deepen Your Meditation Practice with Gratitude
Heart-centered meditations are among the most powerful for cultivating positive emotions and deep peace. Join Yoga Practitioner and Meditation Instructor Dawn Miller for this 8-week, series on Mondays. Each class includes simple seated and standing stretches along with breathing techniques for relaxation to prepare the mind, body and heart for meditation. Start your week with calm and peace.

Whole Body Circuit Training Series Rapid Workout is Back
Rapid Workout is a six week circuit training series, created to help you stay fit with very minimal equipment. Each participant needs a resistance band with handles, 2 paper plates and a workout mat.
Each week the class will increase in intensity. By the end of the series, participants will have recordings of 6 different workouts to keep the burn going all spring and summer.

Register NOW for Books@Work this Summer
Enjoy one of our most popular programs, Books@Work, on Thursdays starting May 6. Over the course of 12 weeks, participants will read and discuss three different books in this professor-led community well-being experience.
Priority will be given to those who have not participated before AND participants must commit to attending at least 10 sessions to be placed on the roster.
