for Foreign Nationals + EOY Cut-off Dates

Foreign National and Travel Cases
We are pleased to announce that we can now accept Foreign National and Foreign Travel cases for consideration.

All of our standard foreign national underwriting criteria must be met in order to consider, including the need to verify that the insured(s) were in the U.S. for a minimum of 15 days in the last 12 months and that they were in the U.S. to take the application. Please note that we cannot offer to those individuals who reside in a “level 4” country per the CDC. 

Additionally, our medical COVID guidelines remain in place until further notice.

End of Year Cut-off Dates
Please note the important dates below to ensure you have a smooth year-end close with Zurich: 
 
Monday, December 7th - Deadline for:
Receipt of any changes and all requirements to Formal Applications for final approval.
 
Tuesday, December 22nd - Deadline for:
Receipt of all delivery requirements to place a policy in-force for it to be included in final 2020 commission run.
 
Wednesday, December 30th
Final commission run. 
 
Holiday Hours:
Wednesday, November 25th – Close at 3:00 pm CT
Thursday, November 26th – Closed
Friday, November 27th – Closed
Thursday, December 24th - Close at 1:00pm CT
Friday, December 25th - Closed
Monday, January 1st - Closed

Reminder: Transition Guidelines for AG49A
I. To use the old illustration regulations prior to AG49A:
  • All delivery and premium requirements must be received by the administrative office in good order and the policy must be placed in-force by December 11, 2020.
II. For cases not placed in-force by December 11, 2020:
  • A new illustration compliant with AG49-A will be required.
