Sound Immersion with Greg Burns of Metta Vibrations
"Do you know that our soul is comprised of harmony?" - Leonardo DaVinci
In our world full of stress and challenges, its important that we each find time and space to relax and utilize practices to help bring our whole being into harmony and balance.
On Saturday, August 11th you are invited to an Evening Sound Bath experience at Sunbeams Yoga in Ruckersville, VA. A Sound Immersion can be a deeply meditative and relaxing experience, as well as very transformational. This session will begin at 4:00 pm and will incorporate the soothing sounds of Tibetan Singing Bowls, Symphonic Gong, and more.
Participants will be invited to relax and become comfortable for the session. After being invited to get comfortable and offering some brief guided relaxation, Greg Burns will begin filling the atmosphere with the harmonic tones and overtones of the various instruments. The sounds will last about an hour before being guided back to waking consciousness. Time to ground, reflect on the experience and ask questions will be offered before concluding the session.
No experience needed. These sessions are geared to aid those not experienced with meditation, as well as offer an opportunity of deep meditation for experienced practitioners.
Participants are encouraged to wear loose, comfortable clothing and limit caffeine intake prior. Some blankets and pillows are available though you may consider bringing any pillow, blanket or crystal you desire to have with you for the session.
