Francesca Mevs, KCC ’20, thrived academically after overcoming a mental illness preventing her from attending school. An ASAP student ambassador who credits the program with her success, she received the Gilman and Post NY Alliance scholarships, among others. Francesca plans to use her refined skills to further her career as a TV personality in pop culture and politics.

Francesca’s advice: “Stay curious and open-minded! Regardless of what job or internship you're in, tell people your aspirations and you will find supporters on your journey.”
