Oklahoma City – The Oklahoma Women’s Coalition announced today the postponement of its annual OneVoice Bruncheon scheduled on Saturday, October 16th, 2021 at the Embassy Suites OUMC. The annual fundraising event helps to support the organization's operations as well as resources and programs geared towards the organization's advocacy goals.
Brandi Sims, Board Chair of the Oklahoma Women’s Coalition provided details around the new announcement.
“After careful thought and consideration, we have decided to postpone our annual fall reception. With the growing COVID-19 cases in mind, it is in the best interest of the organization as well as our community to postpone the event until the spring” said Sims.
She added, “Our team is working closely to prepare for a virtual or hybrid opportunity to showcase the re-branding efforts that our team has worked diligently on over the past two years. We look forward to showcasing the amazing new look and focus of the Oklahoma Women’s Coalition very soon.”
The Oklahoma Women’s Coalition is undergoing a complete rebranding initiative to capture the needs of not only Oklahoma women, but also marginalized groups throughout the state on issues of equity, justice reform and equal opportunity. In order to continue driving these efforts forward, the organization is in need of sponsors and donors to support.
