IN CASE YOU MISSED IT...
Benicia Community Action Council is Paying Off Their Mortgage
Join the Benicia Community Action Council (CAC) to celebrate paying off their mortgage. The CAC is known for the many ways it helps people in need and we are honored to give back to them in a way that benefits the entire community.

Their story begins decades ago when Executive Director Viola Robertson received a loan from St. Paul's Historic Trust. The loan resulted in a win-win situation funding the CAC's purchase of its own building while allowing the Trust to earn interest.

But the CAC now has better uses for their monthly mortgage payment - such as helping struggling families with bills, organizing daily meals for the elderly, or funding job training and resume programs. With their mortgage paid off, the agency will be able to provide even more assistance to those in need.

What: Mortgage-Burning Celebration

When: Friday, September 21 at 9:00 AM

Where: St. Paul's Episcopal Church Community Building, 230 East J St
