Developing a Game Plan for Successful Bidding   CAPA partnered with the APWA to host a panel discussion on "Best Practices for Street Improvement Contracts" at the APWA Annual Conference.  The panel discussion was led by CAPA Director of Pavement Engineering Mike Skinner, PE., and included Justin Vensel, PE, Project Engineer, City of Grand Junction.  Justin discussed the importance of Developing a Game Plan for Successful Bidding   Video Link

CDOT News
I-25 North Express Lanes Segment 3 Pre-Bid & Networking Meeting Your opportunity to meeting with the CDOT Project Team and network with the primes who are bidding.  January 15, 2016, 1:00pm - 4:00pm, CDOT Headquarters, 2nd Floor Auditorium. 
Project IM 0253-234 was advertised today includes a 12.5% DBE goal and additional goals for On-the-Job-Training (OJT). The project is located on the I-25 corridor north of 120th Avenue to SH 7. It will include developing express toll lanes, making roadway improvements, installing retaining and noise walls, providing water quality treatment. More information can be found on the CDOT project website.
 
Current & Future Bidding Opportunities 
There are several paving and rehabilitation project bidding over the next few weeks.  This includes over 230,000 tons of asphalt materials being bid on January 28 alone.    (CDOT Bidding Info)
