Girls Inc. Girls Attend the AWC Women of Achievement Awards
Girls Inc. girls attended the June 8th Women of Achievement Awards, hosted by the Association for Women in Communications (AWC). The event honored CA State Senator Hannah-Beth Jackson and SBCC Communication Professor Dr. Carrie Hutchinson for their courageous communication and advocacy in support of advancing social justice.

Our girls introduced themselves to the honorees and talked with each woman about her work, her passions, and how to become future women of achievement! Thank you AWC for this opportunity for our girls!

Please Help Us Match our 2018 Challenge Grant to Upgrade our Technology for Staff and Girls
We are only $8,500 away from meeting our 2018 $75,000 matching grant to address critical needs. We need you to help us get over the finish line (and to upgrade our computer labs and get long-awaited iPads in the hands of staff and girls!)

Our girls and staff are always on the move. iPads will help us more efficiently meet our daily attendance, participation, and data collection needs, and provide programmatic support.
