Inspiring all girls
to be strong, smart, and bold

The Girls Inc. #SheVotes program empowers girls to understand the electoral process, use their
voices, and cast their ballots when they turn 18. This midterm election, Girls Inc. affiliates across the country are taking part in the #GetOutTheVoteChallenge to help girls become engaged citizens.

Feminism: Back by Popular Demand
2018 Celebration Luncheon Speaker Brenda Feigen met with teens to discuss where they encounter discrimination in their daily lives, from the over-sexualized portrayal of women and girls in the media to dress codes that disproportionately punish girls in schools. Our teens also echoed one another in their need to feel safe in all spaces, including where they are a minority and walking alone at night.

If you missed the Celebration Luncheon, you can still hear Brenda Feigen share her experiences as a legal and activist leader in the second wave of the women's movement and what we need to do to move forward toward gender equality.

" You don’t have to call yourself a 'radical' feminist to say you are a woman with a right to exist with equal importance as men." BrendaFeigen
