We are now accepting mentee applications! Our goal is to connect youth with local women in the community to help increase their knowledge and confidence in their desired career paths. 

Requirements:

• Must be in High school.
• Must interview as a part of the application process.
• Must be able to commit two years to the program. (If you are a high school senior, you may still apply)
• Must have Wi-Fi and access to a digital device to log in to Zoom.
• The participant must attend mandatory once-month in-person workshops at our Girls Inc. Teen Center located at 4973 Hollister Ave, in Goleta.
• The monthly workshops will focus on helping the youth develop interpersonal and professional skills to equip them for their summer internship.

Teen After-School Program at GVJH, SBJH and LCJH

The overall goal of our Teen After School Programs is to have a safe space for our teen girl identifying youth and to be a resource for them. Teens get help with homework but will also learn different life skills such as cooking, building connections and art.

We run programming from 2:50-5:30 however, the program is flexible if your teen is involved in after school sports or has a 7th period. Our Teen After School Programs are held on campus at: Goleta Valley, Santa Barbara and La Colina Junior High

Gymnastics Announcement:

2023 Competition Season

Our gymnastics families are well aware but we wanted to inform our Girls Inc. family as a whole that at this time, we are not offering competitive gymnastics for the 2023 SoCal USAG season.

We continue to offer beginner through high level gymnastics on all events with USAG certified coaches at both Goleta and Santa Barbara Centers.
