Alan Vera was a prominent figure in Republican politics and a passionate advocate for election integrity in our state. For those who have been following our newsletter or participating in our calls, you are certainly aware of Alan and his passion for democracy and activism. Sadly, Alan passed away suddenly last week, leaving a deep sense of loss across our state.
A passion that was sparked over a decade ago, Alan worked tirelessly to promote election security, both in Harris County and beyond. He was a well-known and respected figure in Houston and Austin, where his deep knowledge of election systems and procedures influenced legislators and shaped legislation. Alan's legacy is already firmly established because of the impact he had as an intellect and an evangelist for election security. His passing is a great loss to us all.
