Lillian Scher, 103 years old, died peacefully on April 19, 2023, with her family at her bedside. Lil was a beloved member of Temple Israel of Greater Miami for over 60 years and her life was characterized by a resiliency (her favorite word), an ability to move on from tragedy, a love of other people, a commitment to family and a smile for whomever she encountered. Her funeral will be held in New Jersey and there will be Memorial Service at Temple Israel on Sunday, April 30^th at 5:00pm in the Bertha Abess Sanctuary.
