Christine Conforti, St. Mary's parish secretary under the previous two rectors, died on Sunday, June 3 after a protracted illness. She was 63 years old. In recent years, she relocated to Deland, Florida. According to her wishes, she will be cremated, and a service will be held on the beach where her ashes will be scattered.

In order to honor her locally, a requiem Eucharist will be held on Wednesday, June 13 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit. The Rector will preside and the Rector Emeritus will offer words of remembrance.
