It is with a deep sorrow that the community of 
St. Sarkis Armenian Apostolic Church
announces the passing of

JOSEPH JAMIL BOZABALIAN

Age 77, who passed away surrounded by his loving family on December 1, 2023, following a short illness.

On this sad occasion, the Pastor, Board of Trustees, and all the auxiliary bodies of St. Sarkis Church, extend their heartfelt sympathy Joseph's family members.


Joseph was a pillar of strength, a devoted husband, a loving father, a cherished grandfather, and a caring brother. His impact on the lives of those around him was immeasurable, and his memory will forever be engraved in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.


FAMILY MEMBERS

Joseph leaves behind his beloved wife, Araxie Bozabalian, who shared a lifetime of love and companionship. He is also survived by his devoted daughter, Patil (Philip) Shaheen, and grandchildren Zara and Raphael, as well as his loving son, Ishkhan (Marina) Bozabalian, and grandchildren Lumina and Kalina. His brother, Abraham Bozabalian and family, as well as his sister, Osan Hekimian and family. He will be deeply missed by the entire Bozabalian, Shaheen, Pilibosian, Hekimian, Berberian, Demirdjian, Hairabedian, Manougian families, relatives, and friends.


SERVICE ARRANGEMENTS

The funeral service to celebrate Joseph's life will be held on Thursday, December 7th, 2023. The day will commence with a viewing at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church 909 Shawan Rd, Cockeysville, MD 21030, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery, with a memorial meal to follow at St. Mary's Parish Hall.
