It is with a deep sorrow that the community of 
St. Sarkis Armenian Apostolic Church
´╗┐announces the passing of
Age 94, peacefully passed away at home with her family at her side, on May 27, 2020.
On this sad occasion, the Pastor, Board of Trustees, and all the auxiliary bodies of St. Sarkis Church, extend their heartfelt sympathy to Mary's family members.

Mary retired as a secretary for the State of Michigan. In addition to her devotion to her family, she was a lifelong active member of St. Sarkis Armenian Apostolic Church. She sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, and was a member of the Women's Society.
Her passion was baking, she made custom birthday and wedding cakes, handmade chocolates and authentic Armenian foods and pastries. Mary loved music and dancing, as a young person she was known as the "jitterbug" queen. 

Mary was the beloved wife of the late Robert Antonian, devoted mother of Cynthia (Tom) Rutherford, Debra (Larry) Croff and Samuel (Katherine) Antonian. Loving grandmother of Bryan (Elizabeth) Hager, Stephanie (Chad) Scott, Meghann (Brad Wakefield) Rutherford, Alexandra (Daniel) Thornton and Nicklas Antonian, and the late Jessica Croff. Proud great-grandmother of Maverick, Olive, Serenity, Willow, Journey, Rowan, and Aspen. Loving sister of Margaret Arslanian and the late Esther Sokasian, aunt to nieces Marilyn (Ed) Childers, Armene (Jan Johnson-Kaye) Kaye and Karen Mouradjian. "Mama" to Christiane Melkonian and "grandma" to Stephen Melkonian.
A private, immediate family only funeral will be held at VA Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI, for the immediate family. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Bob.
 A commemorative service will be held in the future.

May her soul rest in peace.
