After a lengthy illness and courageous battle, Suzy Tazian Borden sadly passed away at home on Friday, September 15, 2023, surrounded by her adoring kids and family. Suzy lived her life giving. Mother of three, she dedicated herself to her family, and she treated everyone in her life like family. An amazing cook and entertainer, she always stayed true to her values and her proud Armenian heritage. Everything Suzy did was with utmost love, passion and care. Nothing was impossible for her, and she taught her kids not to be afraid to pursue their ambitions and dreams too. When Suzy’s grandkids were born, she spent as much time as possible with them. She was a loving and fun grandma, never missing a chance to cheer for her grandkids on a soccer field or a tennis court, and sometimes playing sports with her grandkids too. Over her many years, Suzy traveled the world and made friends from all backgrounds. She radiated with love, humor, an infectious smile and grace, which drew people to her. Suzy was a principled and tough woman with a light touch. She gave this life her all, made impactful and lasting impressions on so many people and she will forever live in our hearts.

FAMILY MEMBERS

Beloved daughter of the late Puzant and Vartouhe Arzoumanian. Loving, dedicated and inspiring mother to Taline (Andrew) Linovitz, Vahe (Jelena) Tazian, and Vatche Tazian. Cherished and adoring grandmother to Luke, Reid, Alex, Mila, and Ethan. She will be greatly missed by her five siblings, and so many friends and extended family around the world.

SERVICE ARRANGEMENTS

The family will hold a private service in her honor, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery in Birmingham, Michigan.
