On this sad occasion, the Pastor, Board of Trustees, and all the auxiliary bodies of St. Sarkis Church, extend their heartfelt sympathy to Vartan's family members.
Vartan was born on August 26, 1946 in Stuttgart, Germany and is the son of the late Sarkis and Lucie Kupelian. He married the love of his life, Betty on June 19, 1971 and together they welcomed daughter Lisa in 1976.
FAMILY MEMBERS
Beloved brother of Peter Bedig Kupelian and sister-in-law Kathy, along with niece Lauren Lucie and nephew Pierce Benjamin.
Cherished brother-in-law to James Hachigan and Nancy Der-Stepanian, and nephew Brian Der-Stepanian.
Treasured cousin to Susie (Navasart) Mardoyan, Janet Zennedjian, Armen (Tina) Zennedjian, Serop (Yolanda) Zennedjian and Mike (Tracy) Zennedjian.
Vartan will be missed by many loving members of the Kupelian, Zennedjian, Hachigan, Der-Stepanian, Der-Garabedian, Haroutunian, Garboohsian, Malkasian and Minasaganian families, loyal friends, respected colleagues and the sports community from around the globe.
FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS
A private funeral service will be held this week, with a memorial gathering to take place at a later date. May his soul rest in peace.
