Remembering Carolyn Egan

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of our friend and colleague, Carolyn Egan, on June 12, 2015 at her home in Bristol, RI.

Carolyn's astrological career spanned over 30 years and resulted in a professionalism that promotes astrology in general through the application of weather prediction. What began as a search into the future to find the next hurricane the little state of Rhode Island would experience, she began a journey from an initial introduction to the specialty subject of astrometeorology and advanced to teaching internationally via the internet and the launching of her website, weathersage.com, in 2000.  She was a frequent lecturer at astrological conferences all over the world.

Carolyn considered the pinnacle of her astrological career to be the dissemination of her astrometeorological knowledge through her Weather Forecasting CD's which we happily distributed for her.  She will be long remembered through her articles in various journals, her 40+ seasons of publishing her quarterly weather forecasts, the students in her classes and her friendship and camaraderie with many astrologers. We at Astrolabe were particularly blessed to have her support and loyalty. She was a good friend to our company, a great promoter of our products and a dear personal friend to many of us here.

Carolyn, who was predeceased by her adoring husband Bob,  is survived by her children and grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are private. When you sense a shift in the wind or a drop of moisture in the air, think of Carolyn and thank her for her contributions to the development of astrological long range weather forecasting.
