With sadness, we notify you that Edward Brown, owner of Bill Brown Ford, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2023 at the age of 78.

Ed grew up in a family of car enthusiasts. He and his brothers were known to have a bit of a mischievous side, often racing family vehicles, which resulted in a number of burnt-out engines and attempts by the boys to sneak the vehicles back into their parent’s garage.

Ed took over his father's dealership in the 70s, becoming the 4th generation dealer. Ed's son, Tom Brown, will follow in his father’s footsteps to continue the Bill Brown Ford legacy.

Ed is survived by his son Thomas (Lindsay Jorgensen-Brown); daughter Ruth Ann Brown; and brother William “Bill” Brown Jr.

A memorial will be held on Friday, March 24th, 2023 from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm at Meadowbrook Country Club (40941 Eight Mile Road, Northville).
