Retired clergy Rev. Katie Houts passed recently. She leaves a partner, Melanie Fraim and many loving friends and family. She was Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA, and ordained in 2002 where she has served in a variety of MCC ministries including:

• Staff pastor at Sunshine Cathedral serving as Discipleship Minister, Congregational Life Minister, and Minister of Celebration among other roles.
• Served as Interim Pastor and then the Settled Sr. Pastor of MCC of El Paso, Texas, USA
• Served as an ordained Deacon at Holy Covenant MCC in Hinsdale, IL, USA.

We grieve with the family, friends and loved ones of Rev. Katie. Please keep them in your prayers.
