SKAL Tampa Bay announces the passing of longtime member and supporter - Jack Mengel, He passed last weekend shortly after celebrating his 101st Birthday!
Past President and upcoming Salute to Tourism Honoree, Carol Eaves shared the following:
"Jack was a wonderful person and probably was the most appreciative person who came to our 1st Past President's Dinner when I was installed. His caretaker called to accept the invitation and told me about his early alzheimer's condition. He came and I was so grateful to see him and he was so excited to be in the presence of SKAL and to re-connect with members of the travel community. He and I had served on advisory boards for airlines in Tampa."
