In Memory of Pastor Art Miller
January 1, 1926 - March 17, 2024

Arthur Walter Miller, known fondly as Pastor Art, passed away on March 17, 2024, in Round Rock, Texas, at the age of 98. He was born on January 1, 1926, in Freedom, Nebraska. Art was a loving and devoted man, known for his loving nature and dedication to the church and his family.


Art's career in ministry spanned across various Lutheran churches, including St John's Lutheran Church in Wellington, Kansas, Blue Ridge Trinity Lutheran Church in Raytown, Missouri, Trinity Lutheran Church in Loveland, Colorado, King of Kings Lutheran Church in Pueblo, Colorado, Joyful Beginnings Lutheran Church in Tyler, Texas, and Palm Valley Lutheran Church in Round Rock, Texas.


He attended Gothenburg High School and furthered his education at Midland Lutheran University and Central Seminary Lutheran School of Theology. Arthur was passionate about photography, wood working, and playing cards in his leisure time.


Arthur is survived by his beloved wife Margaret Faye Miller, his son David and daughter in law (Debbie) Miller, his daughter Melody and son-in-law (Daniel) Denson, grandchildren Andrew and (Katie) Miller, Madeline Miller, Chaska Denson, Deangelo Dowdy, Liberty Denson, and great-granddaughter Eloise Miller.


A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Palm Valley Lutheran Church, 2500 E Palm Valley Blvd, Round Rock, Texas 78665. Contributions in Arthur's memory can be made to Palm Valley Lutheran Church.
