Dear Falcons,
New guidance from the Los Angeles Public Health Department (LADPH) requires Cerritos College to test everyone who has not completed a full vaccination series and/or is eligible for a booster shot but has opted not to receive one. This includes all students and campus employees. However, it will take a few weeks to set up our testing program on campus.
To that end, we are extending our return to on-campus classes and in-person services to Monday, March 7, 2022. More detailed information regarding this new requirement from LADPH will be sent later this week. Moving the return to campus date allows us to build capacity and return to campus after the peak of this recent COVID surge.
If you have received a booster shot, please submit your booster card through the Optimum HQ portal. Please know that booster shots are currently not mandatory or required.
