Obituary Page for Sandra Danforth at Norman Dean

Sandra Danforth

We are saddened to share the passing of Sandra Danforth, our longtime Board of Trustees member. Sandy loved the Denville community and was active in public service for many years. A fan of the arts and literature, Sandy especially loved the Denville Library and was a tireless library advocate.

In her final Board of Trustees meeting in May, Sandy closed the meeting by expressing her thanks for the efforts of -- in her words -- "our fabulous, creative, and hard working" staff. Sandy said, "It's remarkable what you all have done. I am so very proud of this library."

Sandy, we are so very proud and honored to have called you our Trustee, supporter, advocate, and friend for so many years. May you rest in peace.

Sign up for Summer Reading! 😎

Summer Reading is open to Denville residents ages 0 (pre-readers) to children who will be entering grade 7 in the Fall of 2021.

Weekly raffle prizes will be drawn at random.

There are no minimum reading requirements. Just do your best!
