In-Person Worship Celebrations
Resume Sunday, June 7
Dear Church Family,

Hopefully by now you’ve had an opportunity to see yesterday’s email video message from Pastor Chuck and Pastor Andrei, speaking on behalf of our Elders regarding their decision for our church to resume meeting together for in-person corporate worship beginning Sunday morning, June 7.

As stated in the video, recent decisions by our state and local authorities have opened the door for us to begin gathering together again for Sunday worship! That "open door" comes with directives and guidelines which we are required to comply with and abide by for at least the next 21 days (i.e. “Guidelines for Opening Churches”). These guidelines include the requirement that when we come together on our church campus, we can have no more than 100 people at any one time in any single building.

In order to comply with this directive, while at the same time hoping to provide enough meeting space for the number of people we are trusting God to bring to worship beginning June 7, we will be having three identical one-hour worship celebrations at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00. Once the Worship Center reaches the 100-person limit at each service, the Discipleship Center will be made available for up to an additional 100 people. The Plaza (with both sound and video of the service) will also be open and available, and the Upper Room as well, if needed.

For those who are unable to attend in person, worship will continue to be broadcast online on Sunday mornings. Also, consistent with the guidelines, there will be no nursery or children’s Sunday School classes available for at least the next 3 Sundays. We see all of this as a temporary accommodation and format, and our ultimate goal is to be able to meet together again as we have in the past, including providing nursery and Sunday School. But that will take time and thoughtful planning as we continue to transition in the weeks and months ahead.

If for any reason (health, conscience, etc.) you are uncomfortable attending an in-person worship celebration, we encourage you to stay home and tune in to the broadcast at 8:00, 9:30 or 11:00.

We are asking that you please complete this poll to help our TCC staff prepare for June 7 .
How You Can Prepare

  • Plan to be gracious and patient with one another. Don’t assume others’ preferences are the same as yours (Romans 14:13).

  • Plan, pray, and prepare your family before Sunday morning. We encourage those in high-risk groups to stay home and continue worshiping with us via our broadcast at trinitycc.com/live.

  • Please do not come if you are sick, are in contact with someone who is sick, or are considered in a high-risk group or category.

  • Please be mindful of social distancing norms: six feet apart, avoid touching, avoid sharing/passing items, etc.

  • Per CDC guidelines, face coverings should be worn. However, according to the Fresno County Health Department, ages 12 and under need not wear a face covering. Please be patient with one another’s preferences.

  • If you have children, please keep them with you and under your supervision at all times before, during, and after the worship celebration. All play areas are currently unavailable.

  • Please use the restroom before coming to the church, to limit trips to the restroom at Trinity.

  • The High School Room, located in the Discipleship Center, will be set up as a family area with a livestream of the worship service. You can expect the High School Room to be home to little ones who need to walk around or need some extra space to help them during the service. We don't mind the extra noise :)

  • If you need to minimize your contact with others, please feel free to slip out during the final song of the worship celebration.

“Now may our God and Father Himself, and our Lord Jesus, clear the way for us to come to you (to be together again with you!), and may the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for all, just as ours does for you. May He strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints.”
