Attention! Important Security System Updates!

Your door codes no longer work to enter the building!

As you have heard, over the last few months, we are upgrading our security system. The installation of our new system is in progress, which means that starting this week, your codes no longer work to enter the building. Please be patient with us as we learn more about working with our new system and work to distribute key fobs for building access. We’ll share more detailed information with you in the coming weeks.
A Note from Dennis

Will you join me in prayer?

As you probably know by now, I am calling us to prayer during this summer of regathering. Regathering physically is not our primary purpose as a body, living in Jesus Christ. Instead, regathering spiritually is our aim. Therefore, I have given a name to this summer: "All Together through Prayer."

Our Staff and Deacons are setting the example for all members this summer. Therefore, I am asking each of you to invest a minimum of 10 minutes per day in prayer (you can even set aside 5 minutes twice per day or 2 minutes 5 times per day).

Through this summer, I will be sending a variety of scriptures, quotations, and emphases for you to use in your prayerful moments.

St. John's, as we prepare to regather "All Together through Prayer," please consider Zechariah 13:9, "They will call on my name and I will answer them. I will say, 'They are my people' and they will say, "The Lord is our God.'"

Through this summer, as part of our “Altogether through Prayer” emphasis, please include the following prayer focus points in your prayers each day.

  • Thursday, June 10 – Kevin Gray, Minister for Worship and Music
  • Friday, June 11 – Families with Children

Sign Up to Make Sandwiches for Roof Above

We need 10 people to make 20 sandwiches for next Tuesday, June 15!

Roof Above is in need of sandwiches and St. John’s has signed up to make 200 sandwiches once a month starting this month. We are asking 10 people to make 20 sandwiches on the third Tuesday of each month starting. The next date we need sandwiches is next Tuesday, June 15.

Even if you have signed up to make sandwiches in prior weeks, you must sign up again to make sandwiches for each specific week you are available to help. Please check the sign up to see if you have already signed up or not.

From 10-11am on the date you sign up, please drop off your sandwiches at the Main Entrance. From there, a member of the Mission Resource Team will deliver the 200 sandwiches to Roof Above.

We will continue this through the summer and re-evaluate this approach before the fall begins.

If you and/or your family can commit to making 20 sandwiches once a month for Roof Above, please sign up here and look at available dates:
