The healing power of kindness is present in every gift.
It is our privilege to pass it on.

Recognizing Our Donors

Donors to Bronson Health Foundation make a difference in the lives of patients and families each and every day. By helping to fund programs, services, equipment, education and more, donors play a significant role in Bronson's healing mission to advance the health of our communities.

One of the ways we recognize our donors is through Giving Societies, which are shared on Foundation webpages.

We invite you to view the Giving Societies to see the thousands of individuals, families, organizations and corporate sponsors who generously gave to the Foundation last year, for a total of more than $7.9 million in donations!

A Message of Hope and Strength

As we prepare for the upcoming Sexual Assault Services (SAS) annual benefit dinner, we want to share a little bit about how the Foundation supports SAS. Last year, $1.3 million dollars in funds were distributed to SAS through grants to Bronson Health Foundation and donations from the community. These dollars are critical to providing:

  • Sexual assault nurse examiners who provide expert medical exams in a comfortable setting in Calhoun, Kalamazoo and Van Buren counties.
  • Counseling services for sexual assault survivors
  • Child Advocacy Center which offers specialized support to child victims and their families
  • Educational presentations by specially trained staff and sexual assault prevention programs for all age groups.
  • Volunteer advocates who provide 24-hour crisis support and advocacy.

The annual benefit dinner, on Thursday, April 4, features keynote speaker Chanel Miller, who survived sexual assault on Stanford's campus and went on to be a voice for change after her attacker was sentenced to just six months in jail.

Dannielle Kostrab-Boyd, manager of SAS, tells us more about what to expect from this compelling speaker in the video below.

Helping Children Facing a New Diabetes Diagnosis

When patients at Bronson Children’s Hospital receive a diabetes diagnosis, it may feel overwhelming for both the child and their grown-ups. We are grateful for donors who generously help fund diabetes care kits to assist families as they start on the new journey of managing diabetes.

This is just one example of the many programs and services supported through funds raised during our Bronson Children's Hospital Campaign!
