Early Voting Begins Tuesday

In Primary Elections

This spring’s primary elections will shape the future of education in Texas. The primaries can determine how much funding local schools receive, whether state lawmakers will increase salaries for teachers, or allocate additional dollars to support unfunded mandates for school safety and security.

Please learn about the candidates and their positions, and plan to vote! Early voting begins next Tuesday, February 20 and runs through March 1. Election Day is March 5. More information about how and where to vote is available at votetexas.gov

Branding Resources Available For SISD Staff

Ever wonder if you are using the correct district logo or colors? Whether you have the updated SISD letterhead or PowerPoint presentation?

To ensure the Sherman ISD brand is consistent across the district, the Communications Department has made a brand toolkit at www.shermanisd.net/internalresources available to Sherman ISD staff. Inside you’ll find updated campus and district logos, photos taken and used by the Communications team, document templates and more. Templates are also built-in inside Google Docs, Google Slides and Google Forms as well, so be sure to look for them in the template gallery when creating a new document! If you need to double check district colors, you can go to www.shermanisd.net/logos to find color information alongside some of our logos!

Community Connection: Grayson County Children's Advocacy Center

Sherman ISD encourages employees to get involved and connected in the community.

Grayson County Children's Advocacy Center

The Child & Family Guidance Center of Texoma exists to strengthen, improve, and empower the lives of Texoma children and families experiencing life’s trials and traumas. Grayson County Children's Advocacy Center encourages the community to get involved, helping to change the lives of over 3,000 hurting Texoma children and family members annually. You can donate to the Advocacy Center directly or hold fundraisers for them, and volunteers can help clean and sanitize play therapy rooms or help make blankets.
