New Billy Bob Bearcat Statue Unveiled
There’s a new Billy Bob Bearcat statue to enjoy for generations to come!

On Monday, the unveiling for the new Billy Bob Bearcat statue at Sherman High School drew together alumni, staff, students and community members alike. Donated by CORE Construction, the statue was inspired by the 1966-67 original statue, which would be carried onto the field by the “Billy Bob Boys.” Four former members of the Billy Bob Boys attended the event, and a couple shared memories of the pride and school spirit it instilled in the community.
Building A Legacy, One Brick At A Time
The first installed set of Legacy Bricks were on display Monday at the Sherman High School walkway! Anyone can purchase a brick to memorialize or honor an individual, graduating class or otherwise, and proceeds go to the Sherman Education Foundation, which enhances the learning environment in Sherman ISD.

Dillingham Elementary's Cole's Closet Continues With Strong Community Support
Dillingham Elementary is excited to see Cole’s Closet grow into the vision that its originator, the late Nicole Newbold, had to supply Dillingham Lions with personal needs and clothing necessities. Her sign is proudly displayed, and and the school appreciates the dedication and collaboration of numerous staff members, Student Council, and Communities in Schools to ensure this vision was successful. Many donors pitched in over the past couple of months to help stock Cole’s Closet, including local businesses CVICU and the Sherman H&R Block locations. Thanks to everyone for their support!
