New Employee Procedures For Building Check In/Out

There are new check-in/out procedures in place for employees visiting campuses. All staff, except student nutrition and maintenance staff, will be required to sign in and out when visiting a campus that is not their assigned campus. Please enter in through the front entrance to sign in at a campus, and don’t forget your SISD badge!

When at your campus or another campus, please be observant and aware of anyone who does not have a SISD badge or a visitor badge. Visitors who are outside contractors will need an escort to the location they are working.

Did You Know?: Employee Assistance Programs Offer Counseling In Trying Times

Sherman ISD offers an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), which offers free access to short-term counseling and confidential assessments whenever you have a personal or work-related problem. An EAP addresses a wide range of issues, and counselors are held to the highest ethical standard and are trained to keep your situation confidential. They work with you to determine the best way to address your needs and move you in a positive direction.

You can contact HealthAdvocate, the EAP provider, by calling 877-851-1631 or (TDD) 800-327-1833. There is also a HealthAdvocate app available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Community Connection:

Grand Central Station

Sherman ISD encourages employees to get involved and connected in the community.

Grand Central Station

Grand Central Station provides food, tools for learning, advocacy, and life solutions, for our neighbors in need, in an environment of safety. It serves Sherman and the greater Texoma area by serving hot meals in the Dining Car, distributing bags of food at Sherman ISD elementary schools through the Children’s Express, and opening its food pantry called the Market Depot. Volunteer and donation information can be found at www.grandcentralsherman.com. Giving can include canned goods of all kinds with specific needs listed on their Grocery & Supply Needs webpage. They also accept used clothing, coats, and sleeping bags.
