Construction Update
Construction budget remains on track as busy summer construction season nears completion
The move-in phase has begun at school sites where extensive renovation and enhancements have been completed this summer. As construction wraps up, new furniture, along with boxes of books and materials, are being moved into classrooms and teachers are settling into new learning environments.

The Early Learning Center, four of six elementary schools – Concord, Countryside, Cornelia and Normandale, Edina High School (EHS), and the first phase of an 18-month project at South View Middle School, have reimagined traditional classrooms to create a variety of flexible learning environments to meet the diverse learning needs of students and new instructional approaches. Transportation staff, and all district buses and vehicles have migrated to the new facility, located at 7600 Metro Boulevard, in southwest Edina. Read more; View budget infographic
