Latest Headlines
All nine Edina Public Schools have received certification from  Common Sense Education , the nation’s leading nonprofit organization dedicated to helping schools and families make smart and responsible choices in their use of technology.
Representatives from Edina Public Schools and Andong Schools in South Korea, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Nov. 26, opening opportunities for an exchange program for students.
South View Middle School students supported Special Olympics Minnesota by participating in the Unified Dance Marathon on Nov. 17. The SVMS Peer Insights/Aspire group danced for two hours and finished third among fundraising teams exceeding their goal of $5,000 and raising $7,048.
Forty-seven Edina High School seniors were recognized by the School Board for their academic accomplisments in the National Merit program and National Hispanic Recognition program.

The next regular meeting of the School Board is Monday, Dec. 17, 2018, at
7 p.m., ECC Room 349. A complete meeting agenda is posted three days prior to the meeting. Regular meetings of the School Board are live streamed on the district's YouTube channel. Q&A Sessions are held as requested. View more information about Q&A sessions and the form to submit questions. Questions must be submitted by 3 p.m. one week prior to each session. Sessions are held at 6:30 p.m., prior to a regular Board meeting.

Caroline and Isabel Bercaw, EHS junior and senior respectively, have been named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in the Retail and e-Commerce category. The sisters are co-founders of Da Bomb Bath Fizzers.

Did You Know?
EPS Transportation collecting for Toys for Tots campaign

Employees of the district's transportation services will again be collecting toys for the Toys for Tots campaign. Last year more than 800 toys were collected! Through Dec. 14, you can drop off donations in the office at the bus garage (5201 76th Street W., Edina) or students may give a toy donation to their bus driver. Bus drivers will be giving informational flyers to students. Find out more about    Toys for Tots   .
