All nine Edina Public Schools have received certification from Common Sense Education, the nation’s leading nonprofit organization dedicated to helping schools and families make smart and responsible choices in their use of technology.
South View Middle School students supported Special Olympics Minnesota by participating in the Unified Dance Marathon on Nov. 17. The SVMS Peer Insights/Aspire group danced for two hours and finished third among fundraising teams exceeding their goal of $5,000 and raising $7,048.
The next regular meeting of the School Board is Monday, Dec. 17, 2018, at

Caroline and Isabel Bercaw, EHS junior and senior respectively, have been named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in the Retail and e-Commerce category. The sisters are co-founders of Da Bomb Bath Fizzers.

EPS Transportation collecting for Toys for Tots campaign
Employees of the district's transportation services will again be collecting toys for the Toys for Tots campaign. Last year more than 800 toys were collected! Through Dec. 14, you can drop off donations in the office at the bus garage (5201 76th Street W., Edina) or students may give a toy donation to their bus driver. Bus drivers will be giving informational flyers to students. Find out more about Toys for Tots.
