SNAPSHOT: The Edina Education Fund awarded grants this past week to support education needs and opportunities for all EPS students. The Ed Fund raises funds with donations through fundraisers such as the Cake-Off, which will take place tomorrow - Friday, Feb. 1.
Latest Headlines

Education Minnesota released this year's list of nominees on Jan. 18 and included on the list are Geneva Fitzsimonds, Jill Uecker, and Janel Weiland.
Last year, Edina High School orchestra director, Nicholas Gaudette, received an Educator grant from the Edina Education fund for the 360 Sonic and Visual Experience project. With the grant funds, he was able to purchase equipment that provides a 360-degree view of an event.

The next regular meeting of the School Board is Monday, Feb. 11, at 7 p.m., in ECC Room 349.

 A complete meeting agenda is posted three days prior to the meeting. Regular meetings of the School Board are live streamed on the district's YouTube channel. To watch, click on the YouTube icon at the bottom of every district website page, or find the link on the School Board Meetings web page.
Q&A Sessions are held as requested. View more information about Q&A sessions and the form to submit questions. Questions must be submitted by 3 p.m. one week prior to each session. Sessions are held at 6:30 p.m., prior to a regular Board meeting.

In the News

The MaxPreps Cup is a formula that attempts to determine the top high school athletic programs in the nation. EHS was ranked number 1 in MN with 664 points awarded.
Transportation News
TrackMyBus app coming in February!

Transportation Services is in the process of transitioning its GPS system to accommodate the TrackMyBus app. The switch from the web-based system to the app should be complete by mid- to late-February, offering a much more user friendly way for parents to keep track of their student's bus transportation. During the transition the web-based system will go off-line and not be available for use. Watch for information to come next month on the TrackMyBus app.

Feb. 1: Edina Education Cake-Off : Join the Edina Education Fund to raise funds for EPS and highlight the latest Education Grants. Early morning coffee 7:30-8:30 a.m. or brunch 10 a.m-noon, St. Patrick's Church, 6820 Saint Patrick's Lane, Edina.
