Heritage Avenue Construction
Last May, voters approved the 2016 Bond package, which included a Multipurpose Activity Center (MAC) for Colleyville Heritage High School and Grapevine High School. The GCISD Facility Innovation Readiness Stakeholder Team (FIRST), that developed the 2016 bond proposal, allocated funds in the bond program for the MAC with the understanding that it would be one of the first projects to begin construction.

With the goal of having the facility completed and open for student-use within 13 months, work began on both MAC's earlier this semester. To keep the project on schedule, the contractor needs to connect a water line for the MAC to the existing one on the other side of Heritage Avenue. This means that over the next six to seven days, two lanes of Heritage Avenue will be closed. During this time, traffic will be funneled to the remaining two lanes to accommodate for the construction.

The contractor will work to ensure the safety of our summer school students and staff during the road closures and we appreciate your patience as we work to build a facility that will be enjoyed by students for years to come!

His career began in 2014,with two seasons with the Wichita Falls Wildcats in the Eastern Hockey League, followed by his time with the Dubuque Fighting Saints in the North American Hockey League. Baum is currently wrapping up his junior hockey career and will transition to NCAA after his commitment to play hockey at Providence College in Hockey East this August.
