The U.S. Pro Bono Summit is an annual convening of corporate social responsibility leaders, social entrepreneurs, and pro bono service providers.  This year's Corporate D ay dove  head-first into topics like making evaluation effective, scaling with lean bandwidth, and developing talent through pro bono.

EEMC's Pro Bono Goes Global Through Targeted Pro Bono Program Design
More and more, companies have pro bono programs or active plans to build one. As pro bono continues to gain traction, companies are no longer asking themselves if they will create a pro bono program, but instead they are increasingly exploring how they can create one that is well aligned with their own unique core competencies and goals.

When EMC developed their Global Impact Corps, they identified four critical components to ensure the success of their program. 
SSpeed Consulting Not Speed Dating In Texas
Capital One, in partnership with Taproot Foundation, hosted a half-day Speed Consulting event where local nonprofits rotated through meeting with functional experts from Human Resources, Finance, and Data Science. At Speed Consulting events, nonprofits can tackle a variety of small-scale challenges on the spot, while engaging the talent of corporate citizens to make a difference. As the Plano Star Courier mused in its article, Capital One and nonprofit executives forged a new type of "Love Connection" that day.
