National LGBTQ+ Survivor Survey

The National IPV LGBTQ+ Survey is officially live! The National LGBTQ Institute on IPV is very excited and eager for this survey to be in the field. The data collected is needed now more than ever as changes are happening to collect less national data on LGBTQ+ communities when we need more information to address IPV and violence targeted towards the LGBTQ+ community.

They are needing to get this survey out to LGBTQ+ individuals, survivors, and community/VSP organizations far and wide.

Planning Guide for Immigrant Families

The National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) recently re-shared a family planning guidebook for immigrant parents, and this workbook is available in English and Spanish.

This workbook is aimed to help parents who are facing a possible deportation make a plan for the care of their minor children in the event of a separation. This workbook does not provide legal advice, and many details are specific to California. However, it is a helpful tool to utilize for families that are facing separation risks:

Survey About the Government Shutdown

NNEDV invites coalitions, advocates, and service providers to complete a survey to help us better understand and communicate to policymakers the impacts of the federal government shutdown on survivors and the programs that support them.

Please share only the information you are comfortable providing. NNEDV will keep the names of individuals and orgs confidential.

The deadline for filling this out will be rolling and you can continue to submit responses as the landscape of the shutdown changes, however we encourage folks to begin filling this out now with the information you do have.
