Are you taking the "mito cocktail"? What is the "mito cocktail"? Can the "mito cocktail" help my CVS?

These are all questions people ask us about the "Mito cocktail" that they see on social media or the message boards. The "Mito cocktail" refers to a combination of over-the-counter supplements that helps treat various mitochondrial diseases. The "Mito Cocktail" has been found to be helpful for many CVS patients. Some patients need multiple supplements while others find that just taking Coenzyme Q10 or CoQ10 can be helpful. While these are all over the counter supplements, we advise you to talk with your health care professional before adding any of these to your treatment to make sure you are taking the right supplements and using the right doses. The CVSA website has a whole page dedicated to the "Mito cocktail" as well as some information on where you can get discounts on these various supplements.
