Here are a few things to keep in mind when booking your tickets:
- Performances will take place at Portland Opera’s Hampton Arts Center, 211 SE Caruthers Street, Portland.
- All regular priced tickets are $20.
- Tickets for patrons 35 and younger are just $15 for Wednesday and Thursday evening performances.
- Talkback discussions with the creators will follow the Sunday matinees.
- The Wednesday, January 23rd performance will be ASL interpreted.

In October 2015, Nikki Weaver sent a letter to 60 women - some she knew and some she didn’t - requesting a piece of fabric and an explanation of its sentimental value. The result is
Weaving Women Together
, an entirely female-driven piece about the loss of Weaver’s mother and how she has collected her in other women, and a magic skirt made entirely of the tales - and fabric - shared by these women.

Congratulations to Judge Adrienne Nelson, our friend, co-chair of our upcoming Rise & Shine event and now the first African American to serve on an appellate court in Oregon and the second woman of color to serve on the Oregon Supreme Court.
Governor Kate Brown appointed Judge Nelson to the post on January 2.
"Judge Nelson brings to our highest court an important, new voice and wealth of experience she has gained in twelve years on the trial bench," Gov. Brown said.
"In addition to her work in the courtroom, she has made extraordinary strides to make the trial bench more receptive to the needs and experiences of diverse and underserved communities in our state. Judge Nelson is a widely respected civil rights champion, whose perspective on the bench moves us closer to our shared vision of justice for all.”
